10BBL Turnkey Brewing System
10BBL 2-vessel brewhouses with HLT or 3 vessels (including HLT) brewhouse are the most purchased configuration consisting of a combination mash and lauter tun and a kettle and whirlpool vessel. From there you can explore a 3-vessel configuration by either separating the mash and lauter or kettle and whirlpool to a dedicated vessel.
For 10bbl brewhouse, the main heating methods are:
● Steam
We recommend this option for all size breweries if you are able to fit the costs in your budget and the equipment in your space. You get the best heating efficiencies and are able to utilize the steam in other areas of the brewery.
● Direct-Fire
We recommend direct-fire heating for brewhouses from 600L/5BBL to 15BBL as this gives enough area for the firebox under the vessels to work efficiently.
